The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Review

Posted by captainmoonlight2 on June 14, 2012

Skyrim is an open world role-playing game in which is developed for the PC, Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. The game was created by Bethesda Game Studios. Skyrim is the fifth instalment of the Elder Scrolls series which consisted of Arena, Daggerfall, Morrowind, Oblivion and finally Skyrim. The story of this game is that the main character is trying to defeat Alduin, the dragon god who wants to destroy the world. The storyline happens one hundred years after the events of Oblivion. Skyrim gameplay consists of many different weapons including swords, axes, magic, daggers and ranged weapons. There are bars for health, stamina and magicka. These three attributes are the things that you need to look out for when you are fighting. Running and doing big swings with your sword will result inย no stamina left, big usage of magic will drain your magicka and of course if you get hit your health bar will deplete. Skyrim won the Game Developers Choice Award for best game of 2011. The score from me is a 9/10 because there is no game that is as graphically and thought out as Skyrim. It deserves its title as the number one game in 2011
